Barrel Zinc Plating

Application:
Barrel zinc plating is suited to small components that can be tumbled in a barrel at a speed of
5 - 8rpm.

Specifications:
Thickness can be controlled quite easily and thicknesses up to 50 microns cab be achieved.

Barrel Zinc Plating can be sealed with a variety of finishes.

Chromates both trivalent & hexavalent can be applied with significant increases in corrosion protection.

Trivalent Black Chromate -  Approved appllicator to automotive specifications.

Sealants can be applied which will enhance the chromate protection properties even further.
